Lightstruck Digital featured in Marketing Comm News

January 20, 2020

Lightstruck Digital's latest creative work for Bought By Many Pet Insurance was featured on the Marketing Industry news website Marketing Communication News recently. Played out via top tier channels and in national press, the campaign represents the brand targeting further growth in 2020, having hit 100,000 pet insurance policy holders at the end of 2019. The ad was directed by Lightstruck Digital's Rob Heard and was shot by long-time collaborator DP Alex MacDonald.

We were shortlisted for a Creative Innovation Award at the DCA Awards this week to mark our creative re-versioning of Eaglemoss Collections' Disney Animal World campaign. Congratulations to TA Design who took home the trophy. To be honest we're just chuffed that we could help our clients have such a great result - the ads really have gone crazy, and are now running in the UK, France, Germany and the US!

Dan Kennedy's Brilliant Photography Workshops

We've been huge admirer's of fashion and editorial photographer Dan Kennedy for some time now, and having attended his fantastic portrait photography workshop at the JJ Media Studios at the weekend have to say that the guy is an imaging maestro! Even more exciting is the fact that Lightstruck Digital and Dan Kennedy Photography have agreed to collaborate one a number of forthcoming commercial and personal projects - you can see our first film "The Locksmith" here.

So good they used it twice!

Our clients Atlas Editions were so delighted with the creative concept of the "Old Collectables Shop" that we devised for the introduction to their latest TV advertising campaign, they decided to use the same concept (and imagery from the shoot) to re-brand their latest catalogue! Talk about value for money!

Last night we attended the AON Creative Risk Awards at the prestigious Cheese Grater building in London and were delighted to be presented with the Award by filmmaking legend Elliot Grove, founder of the Raindance Film Competition.
